Kake Da Hotel began its journey in the early 1930s when Sh. Amolak Ram Chopra, affectionately known as “Kaka,” started a small eatery on the streets of Lahore. Known for serving healthy, hygienic, and delicious food at fair prices, his dedication soon made Kake Da Hotel a household name, loved by families for its quality and simplicity.
After the partition of India in 1947, Sh. Amolak Ram Chopra brought his culinary legacy to New Delhi. With the same unwavering passion, he set up a small stall in Connaught Place, where Kake Da Hotel quickly became a landmark for authentic taste and heartfelt service.
Over the years, Kake Da Hotel has grown while holding onto its timeless charm and commitment to quality. Every dish is prepared with care, preserving the traditional recipes and flavors that have been cherished for generations. Our journey from a roadside stall to an iconic restaurant reflects our dedication to food, family, and heritage.
The Jail Road outlet, inaugurated in 2018, has now moved to a spacious fine dining setup at HL 5, Hari Nagar, since July 2025. This new chapter blends our rich legacy with a modern dining experience — offering guests authentic taste, comfort, and the warmth of tradition in every meal.
